Designing AI products that survive reality.
I partner with founders and AI teams to turn strategy into shipped outcomes across brand, marketing, product, and design ops.
About
I’m a product design leader with 10+ years building and scaling digital products, most recently in AI-driven platforms.
Today, I lead Design at Foundever, where we ship AI solutions used by thousands of agents worldwide on a daily basis. My job sits at the uncomfortable intersection of strategy, delivery, and reality: aligning executives, product, and engineering while making sure what we build actually works for users.

Before that, I was Head of Product Design at Laiye where we scaled AI and automation products globally and navigated fast growth, complexity, and acquisition. Prior to that, I built and scaled the design function at Mindsay from the ground up, laying foundations that ultimately supported its acquisition.
I care deeply about craft, but I care more about judgment. I believe good design is opinionated, constrained, and accountable. I’m known for asking hard questions early, killing weak ideas fast, and helping teams move from vision decks to shipped products.
When I’m not designing or leading teams, I’m usually refining systems, mentoring designers, or working on personal projects that let me experiment without permission.

In their words
Axel is one of the best designers I’ve worked with. He brings a sharp eye and plenty of ideas, and always finds a way to make the work both beautiful and useful.
Axel takes the time to understand users, asks sharp questions, and never settles for his first idea. That mix of empathy and curiosity makes his work stronger with every iteration.
Axel creates space for honest conversations and independent thinking. His support and thoughtful feedback helped me stay focused through a complex data visualisation project and take the design further.
Axel combines attentive leadership with precise, practical feedback. The routines he introduced helped our design team collaborate more effectively and build stronger working relationships with product and engineering.
